Sir: I am an American doing research for a book about a prominent Parsi family from Bombay in the early 1900s.
Would you have any information about these persons:
I am trying to determine if and how Pestonji Manakji Marker (d, 15 Feb 1927) and his son Dinshaw P. Marker of Bombay were related to the the prominent Parsi philanthropist Peshotanji D. Marker (1871–1965).
Pestonji Marker was the manager of Cursetji Muncherji & Sons Stevedores. He and his son Dinshaw lived at Chira Bazaar and they also had a house in Kandivli.
How were they related to Peshotanji D. Marker the philanthropist.
Any information would be most appreciated.
IF there is any other organization, historical society or contact person who may have this information — please forward their contact information.
Sincerely,
David Fenster fenster.david@gmail.com |
